Spacious Balsam Lake Cottage

This spacious Balsam Lake cottage is completely clad in wood inside and out. The mudroom has two large armoires outfitted with sunscreen, towels and hats for guests. In the kitchen, ash cabinetry and quartz countertops provide durability; the extended space includes a pantry, island with open shelving, and a multi-purpose banquette. The living room has a Scandinavian-style wood burning fireplace, 10-ft ceilings with exposed rafters, and a large window. A screen porch provides another space for relaxation. Upstairs, the primary bedroom has a king bed and seating area and a small two-piece bathroom. Next to the living room is the main bathroom which has a tub/shower combo and vanity and the utility room which houses the washer and dryer as well as storage shelves and cabinets.
