Operation Derelict

This sprawling family getaway cottage is nicknamed “Operation Derelict” as the home is built on the site of an old derelict cabin. Four years in the making, this multi-generational cottage property consists of a main building, a principal suite and four motel suites that are connected by glass hallways. The central structure has two living areas, a huge eat-in kitchen, the well-equipped laundry room, bar, powder room, dining area and outdoor pavilion. Each motel suite has its own bathroom, king bed, and large window seat, and each has its own color palette. The principal suite has a large bedroom and ensuite with a soaking tub and two vanities. Other features of this expansive cottage include the stone fireplace, the long kitchen island with its stone countertop, the walkthrough pantry connecting the laundry room and kitchen, the banquette area with its portrait wall, four sets of giant doors to the outside, a huge wraparound veranda, and a bed-like outdoor swing.
